Pulpt Ltd Edition 3 Cider review
Back to all KEY TAKEAWAYS 7.6% ABV Dark Amber, burnt
TL;DR(Too long didn’t read) – Highly drinkable, soft and delicate pear undertones.
It takes me a good 20-30 mins to walk to The Stable in Southampton. On this occasion it was a surprisingly warm September afternoon and I wore a large, heavy coat.
I arrive with a sweaty forehead and wheezy lungs. I hold my heart, as if auditioning for a dying character part in Casaulty –
“284 MILLITERS CIDER-OXIDE, STAT!”
I needed something refreshing and sweet to recover. Bill suggests a Cornish Orchards PEAR cider – which is NOT a perry!
Top marks for how it looks in the glass!
Its a light, crystal clear cider. Beautiful and shiny. I can clearly make out Jack’s middle finger through it as he flips me off.
On the first sip, it’s not strikingly tart, but you know there’s something there on the street corner.
Like it’s look, this cider is soft and delicate to taste with pear undertones.
It’s medium dry, highly drinkable and certainly refreshing. Can’t say i’d have a pint of it though, as it is a little sweet.
Cheers,
Dan
